How Much Can I Borrow?

As mentioned, military auto loans aren’t restricted to just buying cars. You can also get military loans for other uses such as if you have medical bills that need paying or if you want to go on a vacation but can’t  afford it without a bit of extra money to help you out. Because of this the amount you can borrow also varies widely and to some extent is dependant on the company you go for.

Most providers will allow you to borrow as much as you want up to a certain maximum, often around $10,000. Of course this is entirely at the disgression of the lender but that should be a rough estimate of how much you can get. However the upper limit you can borrow also depends on how able you are (in the lenders eyes) to be able to pay it back. When you apply you’ll be asked to enter how much you would like to borrow, and then the lender will come back with whether or not that is realistic and if not how much they will actually allow you to borrow.

Some companies will allow you to make a military loan even if you have bad credit, while others will not be as receptive to this. It is definitely worth looking around at different lenders and providers to see what you need and what they can offer you. Remember that you are their customer so make sure you’re getting the most for your money! Also make sure that you don’t try to borrow more than you can afford to pay back, especially if it is for a car that you could replace with a cheaper model.

Loans for military personnel are usually not of fixed amounts, but the company will decide how much the maximum for you is.
